Data lifecycle
Every kind of data has a set retention period, and scheduled jobs in the database delete it on time, without anyone having to remember.
Most periods below are enforced by a scheduled job; our tests read the same period from that job, so this schedule cannot drift from what actually runs.
When an organisation leaves
When an organisation's subscription or trial ends, its access ends. 60 days later its brands, content, files, chats and members are permanently deleted; owners are notified before. Within those days an owner can restore access, and everything returns as it was. On written request we delete Client Data sooner, within 30 days. Deleted data leaves our backups within a further 30 days. Invoices and billing records stay as long as Dutch tax law requires.
An organisation can export its content from the platform at any time while it has access.
